自然界では、石や草が突然動くだけで、たとえ生き物の姿が見えなくても「存在感」を感じられます。この作品は、純粋に無機的な力によって、そうした有機的な揺らぎを再現したものです。静止していた岩が、まるで下から生き物に持ち上げられるかのように動き出します。この人工的な動きは、物質と生命の 境界を曖昧にします。

作品の外部構造は、最小限のエネルギーで駆動できるよう、軽量な素材を用いて構築しました。また、内部の動力システムについては、モーターと電源を Arduino に接続し、モーターが 0~5 秒の間でランダムに動くようプログラムをしています。

In nature, the sudden movement of a stone or grass evokes a sense of “presence,” even when the creature remains unseen. This work reconstructs that organic fluctuation using purely inorganic forces. A stationary rock stirs, as if lifted by a creature from beneath. This artificial motion blurs the boundory between material and life.

The exterior of the artwork was constructed using lightweight materials to ensure it could be powered with minimal energy. Additionally, for the internal power system, a motor and power source were connected to an Arduino, and it was programmed to cause the motor to move randomly for up to five seconds.
